ILCA PSA Built Boom With Harken Blocks

An integral part of the boat, the boom comes with all fittings for mainsheet, outhaul and vang systems + new Harken blocks for the ILCA mainsheet system. 

Although the ILCA class features three different rig sizes, the boom is the same throughout all three, meaning that one boom can be used for the ILCA 4, ILCA 6 and ILCA 7. 

Sailing an ILCA at a high level often requires using large amounts of vang tension, which can put strain on your boom over time. You should monitor your boom for any signs of damage, and replace it as soon as cracks begin to appear - these often occur around the vang and middle mainsheet block fittings. A new boom will save you the stress of not knowing if your boom will break on you during your next big regatta.
