Centreboard Stopper Assembly

The centreboard stopper is fitted into the head of the centreboard and prevents it from slipping through the centreboard case.

Pushing your centreboard too far in to your ILCA centreboard case is a pain to pull out while sailing, and can also do damage to your ILCA Hull. 

Centreboard Stoppers can easily get lost while sailing, so we recommend using silicone or super glue when putting yours together to prevent it falling apart. ILCA Class Rules also allow a screw to be drilled through the middle of the Stopper to keep all three pieces together.
